There is a front coming through the area for the next few days, and today we had rain and snow falling in the distance in all directions, under a grey blanket of thick ropy clouds.
They ended up cancelling the practice task. We all flew down anyway, and mostly stayed dry. There were some gusty cycles at the LZ just after I got down, which made for some interesting landings.
Tons of Hawaii pilots are here, and zillions of others from around the country, lots of folks we know from visits to Hawaii and past Rat Races. We are looking forward to a great week of flying and celebrating with friends. More details to come...
